Welcome to Dr.Ancient. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Dr.Ancient website and online store at drancient.com, and your purchase of products through our website.

By accessing or using our website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any consumer rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.

1. Eligibility and Customer Accounts

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless the activity results from circumstances for which you are not legally responsible.

2. Our Products

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, ingredients and other information displayed on our website are accurate and up to date.

However, our products are handmade and may naturally vary slightly in colour, shape, texture, surface appearance, scent and other characteristics from one batch to another.

Images displayed on your device may also vary slightly from the actual product because of screen settings, lighting and other technical factors.

Natural ingredients may have their own characteristic aromas. For example, products containing natural pine tar may have a particularly distinctive natural scent.

Such natural variations do not necessarily indicate that a product is defective or materially different from its description.

We may update product information, discontinue products or change available quantities from time to time. Any such changes will not affect an order that we have already accepted unless required by law or agreed with you.

3. Product Information and Use

Our products are sold as cosmetic and personal-care products where applicable.

Product descriptions are provided to explain the characteristics and intended use of the products. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.

You should follow the product instructions and ingredient information provided with the relevant product.

If you have an allergy, known sensitivity or other concern about an ingredient, please review the ingredient information carefully before purchasing and contact us if you require clarification.

4. Orders and Contract Formation

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

After you submit your order, you will normally receive an order confirmation acknowledging that we have received your order. This does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

We use third-party payment services to process payments made through our website.

We do not intend to store full payment card numbers ourselves where payment is processed directly by a third-party payment provider.

We offer delivery to destinations shown as available during checkout.

Orders placed through our website may be fulfilled using Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) or another fulfilment and logistics provider acting on our behalf.

Amazon and other fulfilment providers act as service providers for order fulfilment and delivery. The seller and contracting party for purchases made through our website remains Anchor Capital & Partners Ltd.

Delivery dates or timeframes shown on our website are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, customs processing, severe weather, strikes, service interruptions or other unforeseen events.

We will take reasonable steps to assist with delivery issues and will communicate with you where we become aware of a significant problem affecting your order.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights concerning delivery or non-delivery of goods.

7. Returns, Refunds and Cancellation Rights

If you submit a product review, testimonial, photograph, comment, suggestion or other feedback to us, you confirm that:

  • The content does not knowingly infringe another person's rights;

  • The content is not unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory or misleading;

By submitting content to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display and publish that content for purposes connected with operating and promoting the Dr.Ancient business, subject to applicable law.

Our online store is powered by Shopify.

Shopify provides the technology and ecommerce infrastructure that enables us to operate our online store.

However, purchases made through our website are transactions between you and Anchor Capital & Partners Ltd.

Shopify is not the seller of Dr.Ancient products purchased through our website and is not responsible for our products, fulfilment, returns, refunds or our obligations as the seller.

Shopify's own services and handling of personal information may also be subject to Shopify's applicable terms and privacy policies.

You may use our website only for lawful purposes.
